The $300 deposit is applied toward the total adoption fee. The deposit is non-refundable if the adopting family changes their mind or is unable to complete the adoption.

The adopting family agrees to provide the puppy with a safe, loving, and appropriate home environment and to provide proper food, fresh water, exercise, attention, and general care.
The adopting family agrees to provide appropriate veterinary care and to keep the puppy current on recommended vaccinations and deworming throughout its life.
The adopting family understands that this puppy is being placed as a beloved family companion and that they are responsible for providing the care and attention necessary for the puppy to live a healthy and happy life.

The puppy is being adopted with full rights.
We understand that life circumstances can sometimes change. If, at any point, the adopting family finds that they are no longer able to properly care for the puppy, Pine & Paws will gladly take the puppy back.
The puppy may be returned to Pine & Paws at any time when the family can no longer provide appropriate care. No refund of the adoption fee or any other payments will be provided upon return of the puppy.
Our priority is always the well-being and safety of our dogs. We ask that families contact us before considering rehoming their Pine & Paws puppy so that we can work together to determine the best option for the dog.
